WINTER STORM WARNING from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 8 p.m. Thursday. 6-10 Inches of Snow, 12 in Higher Elevations

A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect from 8 tonight until 8 p.m. on Thursday. Heavy snow fall accumulating 6 to 10 inches, with up to 12 inches at elevations above 800 feet.

Snow will begin between 8 and 10 tonight with heavy snowfall at times tonight and into Thursday morning. It is expected to taper off late Thursday afternoon and into the evening.

Temperatures will be in the upper teens to lower 20s tonight and slowly rise into the lower 30s Thursday afternoon.

Travel could be dangerous with slippery, snow-covered roads and the heavy, wet snow could lead to power outages.
