Stabbing suspect arrested Monday night
WINCHESTER — A Clear Brook man was arrested last night for allegedly stabbing a Frederick County man.
Adam Lamarr Carter is being held at the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center for one count of malicious wounding.
According to a criminal complaint filed in the case, he admitted to stabbing at two men — one of whom received medical care at Winchester Medical Center for two stab wounds.
Capt. John Heflin, of the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, previously said the victim was stabbed in the arm and in the side of his abdomen.
The injuries were non life-threatening, he added.
Frederick County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the stabbing at about 2:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Frederick Pike (U.S. 522), near Sunnyside.
The criminal complaint states, however, that the stabbing occurred on Scarlet Maple Drive.
