WINCHESTER — Students showing up for class at the International Beauty School this morning were met by FBI agents and Winchester police officers.

“When we got out of our vehicle, that’s when we were approached by the FBI,” student Jesse Nuckolls of Winchester said. “They said they needed to ask us some questions.”

Nuckolls, 33, said he wasn’t allowed to discuss what he and investigators talked about, but said they had brought numerous cardboard boxes into the school at 808 Berryville Ave., near Sharp Shopper.

As a Winchester police officer stood at the front door, a man who said he was with the FBI came out to bring in another student for questioning.

Catherine Grant, a public affairs liaison with the Office of the Inspector General for the U.S. Department fo Education, said she could confirm that her agency was at the school, but couldn’t discuss details of their ongoing work.
