Petra poses for a portrait with her newfound father, Norris Bean. A co-worker made the first contact with her Winchester family, as Petra feared rejection. She first spoke with her half brother Mike, who told their father about her. Once he learned he had a daughter, Norris wanted to see her.
Petra takes a walk with her father. She knew Norris’ name for 10 years but feared contacting him. A made the initial contact with her half brothers. “It is basically a whole new chapter in my life,” she said. “You hear about these things, but you never think it will happen to you.”
For the first time in her 52 years of life, Petra Fehrenz has met her father, Norris “Buck” Bean.
