The Top of Virginia Regional Chamber will host a Power Networking Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Hilton Garden Inn in Winchester.

Top of Virginia Regional Chamber members are invited free of charge to the first Feltner Forum, to be held at 4 p.m. March 1 in the Feltner Building at 9 Court Square on the Loudoun Street Mall in Winchester.

The featured speaker will be City Manager Dale Iman, who will discuss “Renovating Winchester’s Living Room,” an update on the pedestrian mall’s revitalization project. Other city staff members involved in the project will also be present.

A reception will be held following the forum at 5 p.m.

The Feltner Forum series is a joint effort by Shenandoah University, Tech Team Solutions and the chamber.

Admission is free to chamber members, but seating is limited; reservations may be made by calling 540-678-4426.

The Disney Institute is bringing its professional development course “Disney’s Approach to Quality Service” to Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown March 28.

Sponsored by Jim Stutzman Chevrolet and Navy Federal Credit Union, the daylong event will demonstrate ways to exceed customer expectations using a well-defined service infrastructure, research and service standards.

The seminar will give participants an insider’s look at business practices that have helped the Disney company to maintain respect for product and service quality. Participants will learn how attention to detail can be the difference between mediocre customer experiences and world-class, memorable ones that drive positive word-of-mouth and repeat business.

Registration costs $495 per person, which includes all course materials, lunch and parking.
