Frank Phillips will be the speaker for the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber’s Leadership Lunch series Tuesday.
He is the president and chief executive officer of Golden Seal Enterprises in Winchester. A Navy veteran who spent 18 years in Naval Special Warfare, he was selected as a founding member of the elite SEAL Team Six and Red Cell.
The Leadership Lunch will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday in The George Washington Hotel. It costs $25 for preregistered chamber members; $35 if not preregistered; and $45 for nonmembers. Call the chamber at 540-662-4118.
First Bank has named Lori Henry as its employee of the year for 2012.
She started with the company in March 2007 as a banking associate at the Strasburg Financial Center and was quickly promoted to accounting associate in November 2007.
According to a company press release, Henry’s teamwork skills, innovative attitude and customer service skills set her apart and make her the most qualified employee for the award.
