Pam Thompson, a kindergarten teacher at Boyce Elementary School, hands Tom McCall a certificate recognizing his 20 years with Clarke County Public Schools during the experience recognition portion of the convocation on Friday. McCall, a special education instructional assistant at Clarke County High School, has more than 60 years of service as an educator, coach and athletic director.

BERRYVILLE — When the nearly 2,000 students enrolled in Clarke County schools return on Monday, they will be greeted by many new faces, and in some cases, familiar faces filling new roles.
