Top of Virginia  Quilt Guild

Lord Fairfax Orchid Society

The Lord Fairfax Orchid Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Bethel Lutheran Church, 2077 North Frederick Pike, Frederick County.

An orchid show table will be set up and judging will take place.

Dick Bowers  Duplicate Bridge

The Dick Bowers Duplicate Bridge Club holds regular games at 7 p.m. Monday and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Godfrey Miller Fellowship Center at 28 S. Loudoun St., Winchester. New players are welcome.

Shenandoah Valley Runners

The fifth Shenandoah Valley Runners winter series race, Stickman’s Tandems 5K, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Signal Knob Middle School, Strasburg.

Entry fees are $4 for members, $5 for nonmembers, and $1 for students.

Project Management Institute Washington, D.C., Shenandoah Valley Community, will meet for the first time in Winchester from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Harry F. Byrd Jr. School of Business at Shenandoah University, 600 Millwood Pike, in Halpin Harrison Hall, second floor.

Past president Darla Howard-Ramirez, will speak on “Stepping Out of the Comfort Zone: Evolution from PM to Leader.”
