Dick Bowers  Duplicate Bridge

The Dick Bowers Duplicate Bridge Club holds regular games at 7 p.m. Mondays and 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the Godfrey Miller Fellowship Center at 28 S. Loudoun St., Winchester, and the second and fourth Saturdays at Westminster-Canterbury. New players are welcome.

April 13 North/South winners were Robert and Ilonka Mcneill, first, and Della Bates and Kathryn Perry-Werner, second. East/West winners were George Caley and Milan Majarov, first, and Theraporn and Michael Clark, second.

April 15 North/South winners were Dagmar Loose and Mark Sonder, first. Tied for second and third were Lynn Welsh and Ralph Cate and Della Bates and Kathryn Perry-Werner. East/West winners were Sam Link and Betsy Fath, first, and Larry and Irene Graham, second.

Mark Jordon, Rotary district speaker, will discuss the work of Rotarians around the world through the foundation at the noon Thursday meeting of the Rotary Club of Winchester at the Travelodge.

He will explain how the foundation works and how Rotarians are part of it.

Lord Fairfax  Orchid Society
