Mended Little Hearts

Mended Little Hearts of the Shenandoah Valley will host a meet and greet with U.Va.’s pediatric cardiology team at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Winchester Medical Center in Classroom A of the North Tower. Contact Amanda Dean at 540-296-4611.

Adult Care Center openings

The Adult Care Center, 411 N. Cameron St., Winchester, a private, nonprofit program that provides adult day health care for persons with Alzheimer’s disease and others requiring supervised care, has openings available to enroll new participants. Call 540-722-2273.

Broken Silence

Broken Silence is held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the fourth Tuesday at Blue Ridge Hospice, 312 W. Cork St. This is a monthly support group for people who have lost someone due to suicide. Pre-registration required. Call 540-536-5210.

Infant See is a no-cost public health program developed to provide professional eye care for infants nationwide.

Virginia Blood Services, provider of blood products to Valley Health hospitals, is open Tuesday through Saturday at 333 W. Cork St., Suite 220. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Spay Today
