Dowrey wins state title, finishes 52-0

Handley junior Jordan Dowrey (right) won a 3-2 decision over Salem’s James Willis in the 285-pound Group AA state championship match at the Salem Civic Center on Saturday. Dowrey, the first Handley wrestler to win a state title since 1999, finished with a 52-0 record.
