Erik Estrada at Patsy’s house
Actor Erik Estrada stopped by the Patsy Cline Historic House in Winchester Tuesday, the anniversary of the legendary singer’s death 50 years ago. No stranger to the city, he was the grand marshal of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival in 2009. Tribute events will continue this week for the singer — the house at 608 S. Kent St. will be open from noon to 4 p.m. today; a celebration of life is planned from 8 to 11 p.m. today in The George Washington Hotel; and a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Omps Funeral Home South Chapel.
