An ocean wave quilt in the collection is so called because the circular pattern of half square triangles in it, when joined, looks like undulating waves.
This red and white quilt is a variation of a cake stand pattern with quilted handles and florals.
An 1840 pinwheel quilt with a chintz border is “beautifully made and beautifully quilted” with the chintz still intact, said quilt expert Pam Pampe.
