For 12 years, O’Brien has manned the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Main Street.
Jim O’Brien of Berryville has been a crossing guard at this location for 12 years. The Virginia Department of Transportation recognized him as one of the state’s six most outstanding crossing guards of 2013.
