Christy visits with some famous characters while sightseeing in New York. Her parade appearance was part of a busy six-day visit.
Christy Kulha prepares to march in Macy’s Great American Marching Band on Thanksgiving Day in New York. She arrived early in the week for rehearsals.
Christy Kulha, 16, a piccolo player from James Wood High School, earned a spot this year in the Macy’s Great American Marching Band. She was one of 185 musicians and 50 flag-bearers and dancers from across the nation to be chosen to march in the Thanksgiving parade.

Winchester — Marching through New York in the 86th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, 16-year-old Christy Kulha felt like an ant.
