This tomato is growing quite well in hanging baskets and would do well in other types of containers as well.
Any plant as beautiful as this Purple Peacock Kale deserves a spot in any available garden space. It tastes good, too.
Some vegetables can be ornamental and will fit well in annual beds. Who would have thought to pair yellow peppers with matching violas?

I have to admit my seasons are generally marked by certain foods that come from my garden.

Spring begins with that first wilted-leaf salad, a mixture of fresh greens with hot bacon dressing…
