One neglected horse seized, another put down in Clarke

Clarke County is now the owner of a bay mare after General District Court Judge Amy Tisinger found the animal was a victim of neglect Wednesday. Farhan Tehrani, a student volunteer at Harrison Equine, a veterinary service in Clarke County, had the horse out for a walk on the grounds Wednesday afternoon.

BERRYVILLE — Clarke County became the owner of a horse seized from a local resident Wednesday after General District Court Judge Amy Tisinger ruled the animal was the victim of neglect.
