John Hudson of Berryville sent in this photo of his mother, Audrey Brown Hudson, taken about 1947 in one of the Harry F. Byrd orchards in Berryville. Hudson said his mother isn’t sure why the photo was taken, but it might have been for a publication or magazine. His mother, who lives in Boyce, did some regional modeling when she was in her late teens and early 20s. Mrs. Billie Jacobs Greenhalgh provided her attire. Hudson said his mother told him that she was scared to death of the horse.
