These young ladies, selected by the Fraternal Order of Eagles 824, ride on the club’s float during the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival parade in the early 1950s. The float is at the corner of Braddock and Amherst streets in downtown Winchester. Carla Baker of Winchester provided the photo. Baker’s aunt, Ileana Butler, is sitting in the back row on the far side.
