Sara D’Amato inherited The Mill at Abrams Creek property after her father, Ronald Gilliam, died 12 years ago. He had bought it in 1988, running a hardware store out of it, and later renovating it for use by the Grafton School. The building had been vacant for several years.

WINCHESTER — A metamorphosis is underway at 661-663 Millwood Ave., as the former Winchester Woolen Mill transforms from an eyesore into an attractive business venue.
