The Patsy Cline bell tower is located near the southeast corner of Shenandoah Memorial Park, south of Winchester. A sound system was added to the tower in 2004 and used to play a song at 6 p.m. daily. The system stopped working after about 2 years because of weather conditions. Jim Kniceley is shown at the Patsy Cline Memorial Bell Tower in 2004 at Shenandoah Memorial Park. Kniceley, who led the effort to raise money to install the chimes honoring the country music icon and was part of the initial bell tower fundraising effort, thinks they should be fixed.
