Peanut Butter Glaze

This recipe was provided by Carl Strite of Broadway, who founded Strite’s Donuts eight years ago with his wife Miriam and their daughter Amy.

Peanut Butter Glaze

2 cups lukewarm water

3 quarts 10x sugar

1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup peanut butter

In a large slow cooker, mix all of the ingredients together until smooth.

Turn on low to warm the glaze.

Dip homemade doughnut in glaze and place on wax paper to let harden for three to four minutes.
