Police seek man in robbery of business

WINCHESTER — City police are still searching for a man who robbed a title and payday loan business Monday.

The incident occurred just after 11:30 a.m. at Check Into Cash at 2103 S. Loudoun St., according to Winchester Police Department spokeswoman Lauren Cummings.

She said the alleged culprit walked into the business, accessed the cash register and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Cummings did not release any further information about the incident and said it remains under investigation.

The alleged thief is described as a white male estimated to be between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black scarf over his face, a tan colored jacket and pants, a black hat, black gloves and black sunglasses.
