Power Outage Summary as of 11 a.m.

10:55 Update: Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative has trimmed its number of Frederick County customers without power down to 19 percent. There are 3,296 Frederick customers of 17,199 without power.

The number of Winchester customers without has risen a little to 231 out of 13,949 (2 percent).  Clarke has 3 of 97 SVEC customers without power.

Rappahannock Electric Cooperative has 328 Frederick customers without power. REC has 17,896 customers in the Frederick.

Thirty-four of the 5,243 REC customers in Clarke are out of power. Stephens City (7 of 781) and Middletown (2 of 389) have a few outages.

Here is a look at the power situation around the region as of 8 a.m.

According to Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative 4,086 of its members in Frederick County are affected. That’s 24 percent of their 17,199 customers in Frederick.

About 1,900 of the Frederick outages are from the Hayfield Substation. About 43 percent of customers served by that substation are without power. The Gore Substation (869 of 2,290 affected – 38 percent) and the West Winchester Substation (380 of 7,266 – 5 percent) are also some of the most affected areas.

In Winchester, 205 of SVEC’s 13,949 customers (1 percent) are affected.

Out of SVEC’s 88,163 customers, 10,418 are without power as of 8 a.m.

Rappahannock Electric Cooperative is also busy this morning with outages from the storm.

In Frederick, 761 of 17,896 customers (4 percent) are without power. Of its 5,243 Clarke customers, 29 are without power.

Rappahannock has nearly 150,000 customers and 18,000 are without power.
