The annual Palm Sunday community gathering and blessing of the palms at the Old Court House Civil War Museum, sponsored by the downtown churches in Winchester, will not be held this year due to construction on the mall.

Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Boyce , will have its annual Usher Day March 24. The guest preacher at 3 p.m. will be Elder Sanford Silver with his congregation from New Hope Baptist Church.

Stephens City UMC
On Palm Sunday, March 24, at Stephens City United Methodist Church, the Youth Singers, Youth Bells and Chancel Choir will lead the 8:30 and 11 a.m. worship services, including palms to celebrate Christ’s entry into Jerusalem.
On Easter Sunday, March 31, music preludes begin at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m., led by the congregation, Primary Praise Choir, Wesley Singers, Youth Singers, Chancel Choir, Stephens City Ringers, Symphony of the Valley, Brass ensemble, and Percussion.
