Berryville Presbyterian

Saint Luke Baptist

Saint Luke Baptist Church, 17 Liberty St., Berryville, will observe its annual Men’s Day Sunday.

At 11 a.m., the Rev. Arthur Gualt, associate minister from New Southern Rock Baptist Church, Washington, D.C., will be the guest preacher.

At 3 p.m., the Rev. Michael Norris, pastor of Destiny Baptist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., is the guest preacher.

Restoration Fellowship Church

Restoration Fellowship Church, 7893 Senseny Ave., Middletown, will have worship service at 11 a.m. July 21 to start its new season. A potluck lunch will follow.

Calvary Baptist

The African Children’s Choir will include Winchester in its U.S. tour to perform at 7 p.m. July 26 at Calvary Baptist Church, 844 Amherst St., Winchester.

Admission is free. A freewill offering will be taken to support the Music for Life Institute.

Greenwood Baptist

Greenwood Baptist Church, 779 Greenwood Road, Winchester, will hold Vacation Bible School from 6:30 to 8 p.m. July 28 to Aug. 1.

This year’s theme is “Friend or Foe” with the Seeing Truth Ministries. There will be games, puppets, singing and chalk drawings. Call 540-665-0368.

Mount Olive United Methodist Church, U.S. 50 west of Winchester, will have a one-day Vacation Bible School, “SonWest Roundup — A Rip Roarin’ Good Time With Jesus,” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Vacation Bible School will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday to July 19 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Stephenson.

Children age 4 through those who have completed fifth grade may attend the free event.

The theme is Cokesbury’s “Everywhere Fun Fair.”

Greenwood UMC

Greenwood United Methodist Church, 726 Greenwood Road, will have new hours for worship services this summer. Worship will begin at 9:30 a.m. and adult Sunday school will follow at 10:45 a.m.

St. John’s Lutheran

St. John’s Lutheran Church, Back Mountain Road, will have Mocha and a Message at 6 p.m. July 20 in the social hall.

This is contemporary gospel music along with coffee and other beverages and light refreshments.

There is no charge, but a freewill offering will be taken to benefit community outreach.

During the summer months, the service will be held the third Saturday.

Camp of Faith Church

Shenandoah Valley Creative Arts Day Camp will be held July 29 to Aug. 2 at First United Methodist Church, 308 N. Braddock St.

Hebron Baptist Church, Gore, will have Vacation Bible School from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. July 14-19 for ages 2 years to teens. The theme is “Kingdom Rock.”

Stephens City UMC

Stephens City United Methodist Church, 5291 Main St., Stephens City, will have Vacation Bible School, “Gotta Move! Keeping in Step with the Spirit,” from 6 to 8 p.m. July 21-26 for ages preschool to fifth grade.

The Voices of Youth — Awakening the Church to Mission, a choir of youth from the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Churches, will perform at 7 p.m. today July 12 at the church.

Voices of Youth choir is high school youth from the United Methodist Churches across the state. The program will consist of choral and instrumental music, interpretative movement and visuals.

There is no admission charge but donations will be accepted.

Hayfield Assembly of God

The Stevens Family Concert will be held at 6 p.m. July 21 at Hayfield Assembly of God, 5118 Northwestern Pike, Gore.

Winchester Seventh-day Adventist

“His Helping Hands,” sponsored by the Winchester Seventh-day Adventist Church, meets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays at 156 Lambden Ave.

The mission is to give back to the community by knitting, crocheting or sewing items to be donated to patients in hospitals and nursing homes. A light lunch will be served. It is open to the public. Call 540-722-4272.
