Clarke County Ministerial

The Clarke County Ministerial Association will have a Community Thanksgiving Service at 7 p.m. Nov. 26 at Christ Church, 809 Bishop Meade Road, Millwood. Dessert reception to follow.

All monetary gifts and donations of non-perishable food will be shared between Crums United Methodist Church Food Pantry and the Christ Church Cares Food Pantry.

Mount Olive Baptist

Mount Olive Baptist Church, 5321 Mulberry St., Stephens City, youth ministry will lead the service with a biblical focus in story, drama and/or song at 11 a.m. Nov. 24. Call 540-667-7081.

Mount Airy Baptist Church, Lewisville, will host a music program, given by the St. Luke Gospel Chorus of Berryville, at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Fellowship of Churches

The Fellowship of Churches in Jesus Christ presents a Season of Thanks Concert with the Fellowship of Churches in Jesus Christ Community Choir at 5 p.m. Monday at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 1317 S. Pleasant Valley Road.

Fairview UMC

Fairview United Methodist Church, 968 Double Church Road, will host a free Bible School Night from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Dinner, a Bible lesson, crafts, activities and music will be offered.

Beth Greer will present a concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 24 at Berryville Baptist Church, 114 Academy St., Berryville.

She is a Bible teacher, speaker, worship leader and vocalist.

John Mann UMC

John Mann United Methodist Women will have its annual Women’s Day this Sunday with two services.

The speaker for the 11 a.m. service will be Dr. Tamara Spriggs and the 3 p.m. speaker will be the Rev. Stephanie Callwood of Bethel Baptist Church in Luray.

Stephens City Thanksgiving service

Stephens City Community Thanksgiving service will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 27 at Stephens City Mennonite Church, 5540 Valley Pike, Stephens City.

Participating churches are Deliverance Ministries Pentecostal Community Church, Mount Olive Baptist Church, Stephens City Mennonite Church, Stephens City United Methodist Church, and Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Elder William Palmer Jr., pastor of Deliverance Ministries Pentecostal Community Church, will preach the Thanksgiving sermon.

The youth choir from Mount Olive Baptist Church will provide music.

A food and monetary offering will be taken for the Stephens City United Methodist Church Community Food Pantry.

Calvary Church of the Brethren on Front Royal Pike is hosting Camp Calvary at 9:45 a.m. Dec. 15.

St. John’s Lutheran

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3623 Back Mountain Road, Winchester, will have Mocha and a Message, contemporary gospel music along with coffee (and other beverages) and desserts, at 6 p.m. Saturday.

There is no charge, but a freewill offering will be collected to benefit community outreach.

Weekday Religious Education

Virginia Weekday Religious Education hosts fourth- and fifth-grade students in Frederick County for weekly 30-minute Bible classes. Classes are held off school campuses on the WRE bus.

Pray Winchester meets from 8 to 9 a.m. Fridays in the recreation room of the War Memorial Building at Jim Barnett Park, Winchester.
