Repaving on tap this week
WINCHESTER — Nighttime repaving work on two city streets is scheduled to begin tonight and last at least four days.
Crews will begin resurfacing Pleasant Valley Road between Adams Drive and Cedarmeade Avenue at 8 p.m. today. Once that work is finished, they’ll move to Featherbed Lane between Pleasant Valley Road and the CSX railroad tracks.
The work is to be performed between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. nightly. Weather permitting, it is expected to be completed by Friday.
Drivers should expect minor delays in areas where the work is being done and are asked to proceed through the work zones cautiously.
