Megan Martin of Winchester was named to the dean’s list at Villanova University.

Cassandra Eiland of Winchester was named to the honor’s list at Mary Baldwin College.

Lauren Walton of Winchester earned honors at Purdue University.

Carla Reese of Winchester is a member of James Madison University's award-winning teams in the 2013 Google Online Marketing Challenge.

The Challenge requires participants to create online marketing campaigns using Google AdWords to drive traffic to their clients’ websites.

Reese’s team was the third-place global winner in the social impact category, securing a $5,000 donation from Google to the Virginia Quilty Museum in Harrisonburg. Reese is a graduate student of the iMBA program.

The following students received degrees at Mary Baldwin College: Shanequa Lashawn McDowell of Stephens City received a bachelor’s degree and Sarah Hope Willoughby of Winchester received a master’s degree in teaching.
