Suspect sought in residential burglary

WINCHESTER — The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the person who stole items from a home while the homeowner was on vacation.

The burglary and grand larceny occurred between June 5 and June 17 at 101 Old Forest Circle, according to a Crime Solvers press release.

The victim reported returning from vacation on June 17 and discovering the home had been forcibly entered and ransacked, the release states.

These are some of the items that were determined to be missing: a Vizio 37-inch flatscreen TV, loose change, a wallet, a watch and keys. A Skilsaw circular saw was taken from the garage.

Anyone with information about a suspect or suspect vehicle in this incident is asked to contact the Crime Solvers Hotline at 540-665-8477. Information leading to the arrest of a suspect may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
