Trout released into Redbud Run
Vasily Wagner, 4, looks at a young trout — also called a fry — he was about to release into Redbud Run Friday afternoon as part of a project involving the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum and Trout Unlimited. According to museum lead educator Daryl Bell, Trout Unlimited provides the museum with trout eggs in October, which they raise in aquariums. About 65 fish were released by children and Trout Unlimited members on Friday. Children pay $10 to sponsor a fish. (Photo by Scott Mason/The Winchester Star)
