Jacque-Lynne Amann Schulman of the United States Daughters of 1812 and Mike Lyman of the War of 1812 Society in the Commonwealth of Virginia unveil a monument honoring the War of 1812 veterans during the ceremony.

WINCHESTER — Though their battles were fought more than 200 years ago, area veterans were remembered with two new monuments unveiled Saturday inside the gates of Mount Hebron Cemetery.
