WINCHESTER-AREA WEATHER: Normal high temperatures in the upper 40s to near 50 for Saturday and Sunday. Partly cloudy skies today before some rain comes into the area Sunday afternoon. Then . . . .
The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WATCH for Sunday evening through Monday afternoon. Freezing rain, sleet, and snow are on the way. Freezing rain and sleet will begin Sunday evening before changing. Snowfall will be heavy at times and is expected to last through Monday. Five inches of snow or more is possible. Temperatures will be in the lower 30s Sunday evening and in the mid-20s through Monday. Winds could gust up to 25 mph.
