Front Royal dentist Dr. Craig Zunka attended the 58th annual American Equilibration Society Meeting in Chicago last month.

The society was organized in 1955 for the study of temporomandibular disorders and dental occlusion.

Zunka also attended the 62nd annual session of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. This year’s program focused on new techniques in clinical laboratory and management perspectives.

Custom Health Care Inc., a Richmond-based health insurance company, has announced its new name and brand.

The subsidiary of Virginia Farm Bureau began to market itself and operate as Experient Health beginning Jan. 1.

The new name is a derivative of experience — one of the company’s primary brand characteristics. The word “experient” means “having experience; having knowledge or skill from observation or participation; to be thoroughly acquainted through study or experience.”

The new name expresses its desire for all customers to experience good health when they do business with the organization. All marketing and communication materials will now promote the company as Experient Health, as will the new website Experienthealth.com.
