WINCHESTER — The city School Board is encouraging input from students and parents regarding potential modifications to attendance zones and the replacement of John Kerr Elementary School.
The Winchester School Board is reviewing options for accommodating enrollment growth and replacing Kerr.
Over the next several months, the board will review technical information and decide on a plan to provide adequate instructional space for Winchester Public Schools over the coming decade.
The adopted course of action may result in future changes to elementary school attendance zones.
Two opportunities for formal public input are currently scheduled:
Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. during a City Council/School Board Ad Hoc Committee meeting at Daniel Morgan Middle School.
March 11 at 6 p.m. during a School Board meeting at Virginia Avenue Charlotte DeHart Elementary School.
