Rotary Club of Frederick County
The Rotary Club of Frederick County will meet at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at Shenandoah University in the Clement Board Room of Allen Dining Hall.
A club assembly will be held by the club’s committee chairs.
The club board of directors meeting will be held following the club assembly.

The Rotary Club of Clarke County will meet at noon today at the Grace Episcopal Church Hall in Berryville.

Dick Bowers Duplicate Bridge
The Dick Bowers Duplicate Bridge Club holds regular games at 7 p.m. Monday and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Godfrey Miller Fellowship Center at 28 S. Loudoun St., Winchester. New players are welcome.
Jan. 21 North/South winners were Dagmar Loose and Mark Sonder, first, and George Caley and Gerard O’Malley, second. East/West winners were Thelma Cameron and Rosalie Lewis, first, and Irene and Larry Graham, second.
Jan. 22 North/South winners were Helen Sperry and Rosalie Lewis, first, and Gerard O’Malley and Dagmar Loose, second. East/West winners were Bengt Farnstrom and Stephen Montague, first, and Sandy Murphy and Colin Steele, second.

Apple Valley Tea Party
The Apple Valley Tea Party, Shenandoah Valley Constitutional Conservatives, and the Republican Women of Shenandoah Valley are sponsoring a Lieutenant Governor Candidate Forum Feb. 9 at Lord Fairfax Community College’s Carl and Emily Thompson Conference Center.
This is a free event from 1 to 4 p.m., and the following seven candidates will attend — Jeannemarie Davis, Bishop E.W Jackson, Pete Synder, Scott Lingamfelter, Steve Martin, Cory Stewert and Susan Stimpson.
Shenandoah Knitting Guild
The Shenandoah Knitting Guild will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church, Merrimans Lane, Winchester.

Alpha Omega ESA
Alpha Omega chapter 2060, ESA, will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Courtyard by Marriott.
Cookie Oates of the Winchester Medical Center’s Hurst House will give a program on this respite site for families followed by a tour of the house adjacent to the hospital. Members are asked to bring items for the house.
Orders for the country ham sandwich sale to be delivered Feb. 8 are due. The proceeds from the sale will cover costs of the NW Works chili dinner Feb. 15.
The additional proceeds will be added to the Jane Ray Memorial Nursing scholarship fund.
The chapter will have a tailgate party Saturday prior to Sunday’s Super Bowl, hosted by Joan and Eddie Dodson.
Women’s Civic League
Women’s Civic League will meet at noon Friday at Best Western Lee-Jackson in Winchester

Old Fredericktown Garden Club
Old Fredericktown Garden Club will not meet in February.
Although the club did not hold its monthly meeting in January, the group hosted a bridal shower for one of its members, Mary Stickley, with approximately 18 members in attendance.
