Winchester Wheelmen
Winchester Wheelmen will have a Thursday at White Post Night Road Ride. It will take place unless there is rain or snow. Ride starts from White Post Restorations at 6 p.m. Average speed is 15 to 17 mph. Buck Hefner is leading. White front light and red rear flashing light required.
Newcomers Club
The Winchester Area Newcomers Club, a social club for women, will meet at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 20 at the Opequon Presbyterian Church in Kernstown.

Quota Club
Quota International of Winchester is accepting clean and pressed women’s clothing, handbags, accessories, and jewelry (all in good condition) for the Fabulous Fashion Finds Sale, benefiting local charities.
Deadline for tax deductible donations is May 3. The sale will be from 6 to 8 p.m. June 13 at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley.

Air Force Association
The Northern Shenandoah Valley Chapter 435 of the Air Force Association will host the Virginia State AFA meeting March 9 at Randolph-Macon Academy Middle School.
The speaker will be Michael E. Zettler, lieutenant general, USAF, retired.
He retired Jan. 1, 2004, as the deputy chief of staff for installations and logistics, headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C.

Korean War Veterans
The Shenandoah Valley Chapter 313 of the Korean War Veterans Association will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday at American Legion Post 21, 1730 Berryville Pike.
Any member of the military who served in Korea, including territorial waters and airspace from Sept. 3, 1945, to the present, and any veteran who served outside Korea between Jan. 25, 1950, and Jan. 31, 1955, can become a member.

Shenandoah Valley Runners
The sixth Shenandoah Valley Runners winter series race, Run for a Rose 5K, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Sherando High School, Stephens City.
Entry fees are $4 for members, $5 for nonmembers and $1 for students.
