Kiwanis of Old Towne Winchester will meet at noon Monday at the Godfrey Miller Fellowship Center in Winchester.

Rotary Club of Winchester’s Latest
The Rotary Club of Winchester’s Latest will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Piccadilly’s Public House.

Wounded Warrior Project
The Wounded Warrior Project will hold its second annual shooting competition Friday to Sunday at Peacemaker National Training Center at Glengary, W.Va.

Dance Club Shenandoah
Dance Club Shenandoah will hold the first dance of the season Oct. 20. The band will be the Dave Winters Group.
This is a members-only organization that holds monthly ballroom/swing/latin dances with live bands.

Winchester Democratic Committee
Winchester Democratic Committee will have a breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church Family Life Center, 1317 S. Pleasant Valley Road.
Strategies will be discussed to re-elect President Barack Obama and elect other Democratic candidates.
The guest speaker is Aneesh Chopra, the first American Federal Chief Technology Officer of the United States and a candidate for lieutenant governor in 2013.

Old Fredericktown Garden Club
Old Fredericktown Garden Club will not meet in October due to members going to the district meeting in Waynesboro.
The September meeting was hosted by Peg Magtutu at the home of Nancy Johnston. The program was Horticulture 101 by Alana Danko on how to fill out the National Garden Club cards for horticulture and design and information for entry in a flower show.
Ribbons were awarded to Nancy Johnston, Alana Danko, Rose Trochlil and Jean Miller.
Alpha Rho
Alpha Rho Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa International Sorority will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the library of Millbrook High School.
The program will be highlights of the Southeast Regional Conference.

Korean War Veterans
The Shenandoah Valley Chapter 313 of the Korean War Veterans Association will meet 2 p.m. Tuesday at the American Legion Post 21 at 1730 Berryville Pike.
Any member of the military who served in Korea, including territorial waters and air space from Sept. 3, 1945, to the present, and any veteran who served outside Korea between Jan. 25, 1950, and Jan.31, 1955, can become a member.
