The six Rotary clubs in Area One are working together to create a world without hunger.
Two events will be held Saturday.
“Stop Hunger Now” will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon in James Wood Middle School to package meals for Third World countries. Each meal costs 25 cents, and the goal is to package 50,000 meals.
“Feed Our Neighbors” will focus on local citizens by helping to fill the shelves at Winchester’s and Front Royal’s Salvation Army and the Congregational-Community Action Project, and FISH of Clarke County.
Volunteers will collect donations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at area Walmart stores.
