KERNSTOWN — Fresh off its move into a new local office space, Invenio Solutions is planning to double its workforce in 2013.
The Austin, Texas-based business-to-business sales firm has experienced rapid growth in the past two years.
That continues to be good news for the company’s local branch — which moved its office space in October from the Fort Collier Industrial Park to a newly renovated space on Frogale Court, south of the city, nestled between Valley Pike (U.S. 11) and Va. 37.
The company has grown from 33 employees in October 2010 to its current 79 — and expects to double that in 2013, said Janet Wynkoop, president of the Frederick County location.
“It’s excellent news,” she said. “We’re growing nationwide and locally. We’re very excited.”
The majority of the local positions are expected to be in the business-to-business sales area.
Locally, the company has 15 openings, Wynkoop said.
To accommodate the expected increase in employees, the company is hoping to begin work expanding its Frederick County office space — from 12,000 to about 17,000 square feet — in the near future.
Invenio Solutions has had a Winchester location since 2010, when it merged with Reston-based InteliTarget.
