STEPHENSON — Two adults and a child were taken to the hospital Thursday morning after a two-vehicle crash on Martinsburg Pike (U.S. 11).

According to Virginia State Police Sgt. F.L. Tyler, 53-year-old Lori Ravencrest was cited for failure to yield the right of way after she allegedly turned in front of another vehicle.

Ravencrest was attempting to make a left turn on Stephenson Road when she turned in front of a northbound 1995 Honda Civic.

The driver of the Honda — 22-year-old Heather Grady — and a child, who was not named, were taken, along with Ravencrest, to Winchester Medical Center.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and the child was in a safety seat, according to Tyler, who did not know their condition.

Trooper W.A. Connelly investigated the crash and cleared the scene within an hour, Tyler said. He did not have any information regarding the amount of damage to the vehicles.
