Frederick Fair ready to go into full swing

Anna Shoutt, 11, of Cross Junction, riding Dancer, removes a rope from a gate during the trail class at Frederick County Fair 4-H horse show on Saturday. After opening the gate, she had to back Dancer through the gate and then reattach the rope. This was just one discipline of the trail class. The event was hosted by the Golden Horsehoes 4-H Club. STEPHENSON — The weekend was a time for preparation at the Stonewall Ruritan Fairgrounds.
Young pageant queens were crowned.
Rides were put up.
Concessions trailers were put in place.
