Anna Shoutt, 11, of Cross Junction, riding Dancer, removes a rope from a gate during the trail class at Frederick County Fair 4-H horse show on Saturday. STEPHENSON — The weekend was a time for preparation at the Stonewall Ruritan Fairgrounds.

Young pageant queens were crowned.

Rides were put up.

Concessions trailers were put in place.
