For ages 16 to 19, this hands-on workshop will introduce participants to fraktur, love knots, and Valentines. Instructor Rhonda Smith, MSV coordinator of adult and gallery programs and retired art teacher, will discuss the folk art form of fraktur and the symbolism and history of love knots and Valentines. Participants will then create their own Valentine, fraktur, or love knot.
