Renowned musician and instrument maker Sam Rizzetta will discuss the history and making of traditional Appalachian musical instruments such as the mountain dulcimer, hammer dulcimer, guitar, and Native American flute. He will also display instruments and demonstrate the technique of inlay decoration using mother of pearl Rizzetta will be joined by virtuoso musician Charlie Casabona to perform an entertaining mix of Colonial music, Civil War-era tunes, ragtime, bluegrass, and Celtic numbers.
