Created Equal Movie Series
Description
Clips from the film, The Abolitionists, will be screened, and followed by a guided “Walk & Talk” tour of Long Branch Plantation. Visitors will be asked to share their thoughts on the film, slavery, and abolitionism as these historic themes relate to their lives today (and their ancestors) and to the history of Long Branch. Overview: This film explores the struggles of the men and women who led the battle to end slavery, including Frederick Douglass, Harriet Beecher Stowe, John Brown, and others.
