Is a Merry Christmas possible? Join us at the historic Bushong Farm. Visit with our living historians and discover how a family carries on in the face of national crisis. There are games to play, stories to hear, treats to eat, songs to sing and a visit from a special Christmas visitor.
1864, a nation divided, yet another Christmas far from home, lonely hearts and short rations…
Is a Merry Christmas possible? Visit the military encampment and bring some Christmas cheer to soldiers far from hearth and family. Lend a hand with chores or join in the holiday celebration!
Each person bringing a non-perishable food item for donation to an area food bank will receive 50% off regular admission. Without a donation, regular admission rates apply $10.00 for adults ages 13-64-$9.00 for seniors 65 and older-$6.00 for youth ages 6-12-Free for ages 5 and under
Tickets may be purchased at the Virginia Museum of the Civil War at New Market Battlefield on the day of the event.
