General Free Rabies Clinic
Happy Whiskers Animal Assistance will be hosting a FREE Rabies Clinic Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Park; located at the end of South Mildred Street in Charles Town, West Virginia. The clinic will be held rain or shine. The clinic is open to everyone, including surrounding county and out of state residents. Rabies vaccinations are FREE and donations are appreciated but not required. Rabies vaccinations will be administered by Dr. Libby Daniel, of Hillside Veterinary Hospital. Dog and cat distemper combination vaccinations will also be available for $10.00 each. A three-year rabies vaccination will be given to dogs/cats whose owners provide proof of prior rabies vaccination. A previous rabies certificate serves as proof and needs to be presented at the clinic in order for the dog/cat to receive a three-year vaccination. All other pets will receive a one year rabies vaccination. In addition to the vaccinations, we will also have a bake/drink sale, free goodie bags for the cats/dogs, and free cat/dog supplies. Petco will also be handing out free items and information. All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier. Pre-registration is now available at www.happywhiskers.org This free clinic is made possible by the generous donation of the rabies vaccine by Hillside Veterinary Hospital. We would also like to thank the Pedigree Foundation in partnership with Petfinder Foundation for awarding the $1000 grant to Happy Whiskers for this rabies clinic. For more information, contact Sara Mauck, Happy Whiskers’ director, at (703) 501-0221 or info@happywhiskers.org.
