The Shenandoah Valley Technology Council will be hosting a luncheon “STEM Education, Workforce and Economic Development, and the Link Between K-12 Education and Job Creation” Thursday, December 6, 2012, 12:00noon to 1:30pm, at JMU’s Festival Center, Highlands Room. Special guests Secretaries Fornash and Cheng will update us on the Governor’s ALL STUDENTS initiative, followed by Pat Lintner, Director of Instruction, Harrisonburg City Schools who will speak on the refocused and retooled STEM efforts in this local school system.
