General Shepherdstown Holiday Marketplace
The Shephedstown Holiday Marketplace returns to the Historic Entler Hotel on Friday, November 23 with opening day hours 11 am to 8 pm. The Market will continue on November 24, 25 and December 1, 2, 8, 15 and 22 from 10 am until 4 pm. Local artisans and crafters will have festive foods, pottery, one of a kind handmade clothing and accessories for adults and children, handmade soaps, unique jewelry, birdhouses, holiday greenery and much more for your holiday enjoyment and gift giving. Our annual Christmas Bake Sale is a true annual tradition for our loyal patrons who use our tasty fare in their celebration of the Holiday Season, both as home treats and also as prized gifts to family, friends & co-workers. Sherando Band Students are hosting a Holiday Bazaar and Breakfast with Santa. The breakfast includes pancakes, sausage links, juice, milk, coffee and hot cocoa. General 20th Reunion of Library Youth Puppeteers
All past puppeteers of Handley Regional Library are invited to celebrate 20 years of puppet programs--from the days of the hand-built stage and borrowed puppets to today. A battle of the puppeteers will be staged where puppeteer graduates will take on the current puppeteers.

Multicultural Ministry Musical Our Multicultural children will be presenting a special musical version of "Noah's Ark: All Under One Roof!" on Saturday, December 15, at 5:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center (Youth Sanctuary). The play is in Spanish, but the English translation will be displayed on the big screen. All are invited to attend!

General Russian Counted Cross-stitch Artist to Show her Works In Winchester
Virginia National Bank (186 North Loudoun Street, Winchester, VA 22601) will open a unique exhibition featuring counted cross-stitch artist Nina Vassallo on December 7 at 4 pm, on view until February 2013. Nina Vassallo was born in Russia, where she graduated from medical school and served for several years as a physician in a clinic in Moscow. She and her husband live in Winchester, Virginia. Twenty-one beautiful cross-stitch works adorn Nina’s home. She has a tradition: after finishing each design, she brings it to the International Club so her friends can share her joy in another masterpiece. She calls it The One Picture Show. Finally she decided to put a proper show together, so everyone could see the beauty otherwise hidden inside her home. When Nina's sister Lyuba heard about The Art of Cross Stitch exhibition, she brought over from Moscow (Russia) three new works of her own, featuring sights from her recent trips to Italy and The Czech Republic.
