| General | Elements of Art and Design This is an art class for adults who always wanted to create art but didn’t know where to start. Instructor Rhonda Smith, MSV coordinator of adult and gallery programs and former art teacher, will explain the use of line, shape, form, value, texture, color, and space in art and guide participants in hands-on activities using a variety of materials and tools. | General | Winter Reading! Handley Regional Library is participating in the state-wide Winter Reading program. Families are encouraged to read together during the month of February. Early literacy activities will be promoted through the libraries. Electronic registration for the Winter Reading program begins February 1. Reading club participants record their time spent reading, and for each six hours of reading, participants will receive a bookplate to place in a favorite book.
